Coppola, Scorcese, Speilberg, Hawkes, Htchcock, etc all have done adaptions or worked from others writings. Lucas has probably done the most originals vs adaptions...and is he better than the others at telling a story?<BR/><BR/>I am not bothered that you are underwhelmed...some folks are bound to be. Some of the excited will also be bitterly disappointed. But I have heard this assessment of Snyder before-and I am not sure it is a totally fair way to judge whether he is capable of making a solid film here. The interviews indicate someone who takes his source very reverently-as much more than a cool storyboard. And he has stated that the film is aimed at doing to super-hero movies what the original did to Super-hero comics. I am not ready to write him off is all.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
