Doctor Who's Bootstrap Paradox - BEFORE THE FLOOD
All in all, a very so-so conclusion for a pretty good two-parter.
In all honesty, I didn't expect the episode to start with the Doctor breaking the fourth wall and explaining the "bootstrap paradox". (Capadi's Doctor encourages the viewer to "Google it" - this link should save you the trouble). It then resumes right where it left off....with the Doctor seemingly dead and becoming a ghost.
Or did he?
I say this is so-so because...yes, it hit all the high notes an episode should, but it felt more like an exercise in time travel paradoxes than an actual story. It felt a little too familiar; and quite honestly, I'm not sure it packs the punch in retrospect that it did in viewing.
