All Hail Alan David Doane

So I'm perusing the comic-related newsgroups in my newsreader, and I'm coming across a brand new entry from Logan...as well as the mighty Johnny Bacardi - talking about the top 500 graphic novels ever.

Smelling a meme - and a quick and easy way to create content - I decided to jump on in.

Alan David Doane, sparked and inspired by a post from Eddie Campbell, decided to initiate this by putting out a list of 500 graphic novels. Of course, it might have been easier to make a comment about Campbell's describing certain people as "idiots"...but Mr. Doane took the high road.

As will I - like Mr. Bacardi, I will bold the ones that I have read, and...well, I'll just have to head to the library's web site and place the ones I haven't on interlibrary loan.
